XNGL is a glass filled Nylon (50%) and is the hardest and strongest of all our tool plastics and holds a very sharp and hard edge. The glass content gives inherently abrasive properties suited to very tough material removal operations. XNGL is still far less likely to mar surfaces then metal tools and is particularly suited to resharpening. Extreme resistance to chemicals and solvents and minimal degradation of strength overtime.
