Cages provide precise depth control by limiting the travel of the cutter being used and aiding in the perpendicular alignment of the cutter to the surface being machined.
Generally used as a depth stop when countersinking/counterboring, extremely accurate adjustment.
Designed to give extra reach when countersinking, especially useful when carrying out aircraft skin work near obstructing draw clecos.
Accepts industry standard ¼” x 28 TPI UNF threaded tooling up to ½” diameter.
6¼” long and the skirt is ¾” diameter.
Adjustable in increments of .001″.
